Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you request a shed quote or submit an inquiry through Backyard Shed, we collect details necessary to fulfill your request, including your name, email address, phone number, installation address or postal code, and shed preferences (size, colour, upgrades).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information exclusively to provide personalized shed quotes, coordinate build dates, perform on-site walkthroughs, and communicate about your project. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to ensure essential site operation, remember consent preferences, analyze advertising performance, and understand how visitors use our website. You can manage optional cookies using our Cookie Preferences banner.

When Analytics cookies are enabled, we use Microsoft Clarity to record anonymized session replays and generate heatmaps. This helps us see how visitors navigate the site so we can improve the experience. Clarity only activates after you grant Analytics consent, and it does not run when Analytics cookies are disabled.

Sensitive form content - including your name, contact details, address, and any shed configuration or quote information - is automatically masked in Clarity recordings so it is never captured or replayed.

4. Service Providers & Integrations

We partner with reputable lead management and CRM software (such as LeadConnector) to process quote requests and automate SMS/email estimate delivery within an hour. All data processing conforms to standard privacy regulations.
